WPX Control Panel

Login: my.wpxhosting.com > Services > Manage > Select site

Available per site:

  • File Manager
  • phpMyAdmin
  • Backups (28-day retention, daily server-side)
  • PHP version selector (8.1 or 8.2)
  • WPX CDN toggle (included, zero cost)
  • Error logs

WPX CDN Setup

WPX CDN is included in all plans. Enable per site:

  1. WPX Control Panel > CDN > Enable CDN
  2. CDN URL auto-configured: cdn.yourdomain.com
  3. Configure WP Rocket CDN tab: enable CDN, enter CDN URL

WPX CDN covers: images, CSS, JS, static files. Reduces TTFB by 40-60% for US traffic.

PHP Version

WPX Control Panel > PHP Version:

  • Set to 8.2 for WP 6.x sites (recommended)
  • Set to 8.1 if specific plugin has 8.2 incompatibility
  • Changes take effect immediately — no restart required

MainWP Integration

All 34 WPX sites managed via mainwp.abreumovers.com:

MainWP Dashboard > Sites > Filter: tag = "wpx"
> Bulk operations: sync all, update plugins, security scan, view uptime

Tag all WPX sites as wpx-site when adding to MainWP. Apply tag via: Sites > Edit Site > Tags.

MainWP connection: if WPX WAF blocks MainWP > WPX Dashboard > Security > Whitelist IP (MainWP server IP).

WPX Backups

Daily server-side backups retained 28 days:

  • Restore: WPX Control Panel > Backups > Select date > Restore
  • Download: Select date > Download (zip: files + SQL)
  • For critical sites: run UpdraftPlus additionally (double backup)

Performance Baseline (WPX + WP Rocket + WPX CDN + ShortPixel)

  1. Check WPX CDN enabled (WPX control panel)
  2. Check WP Rocket active (plugin list)
  3. Check no runaway PHP process (WPX control panel > CPU/Memory)
  4. Check Cloudflare SSL mode is Full (strict) — not causing redirect loops

DDoS Protection

WPX includes enterprise DDoS protection — always on, no configuration required. If a site shows traffic anomalies: WPX support handles mitigation.

Malware Removal

WPX includes free malware removal:

  1. Submit ticket: my.wpxhosting.com > Support > New Ticket
  2. Description: "Malware found on [domain] — please run malware removal"
  3. WPX responds within 1-4 hours (average < 1 hour per their SLA)
  4. After removal: change all passwords, rotate API keys, update all plugins
